 Day 01 |
Istanbul |
|
Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel - check-in time is 1400 hours. In the afternoon, depart for a half-day Bosphorus cruise. Take in the sights and sounds of this legendary waterway lined with historic villages, grand wooden mansions, imposing fortresses, and the baroque summer palaces of the late ottoman sultans. After the cruise, visit the spice bazaar, a thrilling riot of colours, sounds, and the rich smells of exotic spices. Overnight in Istanbul.

Istanbul - Ankara - Cappadocia |

After breakfast transfer to the airport to catch the 08:00 hrs flight to Ankara, capital of turkey and one of the fastest growing cities in the world with a history dating back 3000 years. Upon arrival visit the Anatolian Civilisations Museum that also exhibits the remains of Catalhoyuk, The Neolithic Village dating back to 6500 bc. Then, visit the Mausoleum Of Ataturk, the founder of modern turkey. After lunch at a local restaurant, your next destination is the mysterious Cappadocia. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymakli & Citadel Of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" & open air museum. The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos. Overnight at hotel.

Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale |

Early departure for Konya; on the way visit the 13th century Seljukian caravanserai "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes. Lunch Enroute, drive to Pamukkale overnight at hotel.

Pamukkale - Kusadasi |

Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest necropolis graveyard of the ancient world, Roman baths, Basilica and Calcium cliffs. Drive to Aphrodisias. After lunch visit the greco-romen settlement which is remarkably well preserved. The ancient city is dedicated to the Godess of love, Aphrodite. Drive to Kusadasi, overnight at hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel drive to Meryemana and visit the house of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the Romen capital of Asia minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules gate, the temple of Hadrian, the Magnificient library, Agora and fantastic Greco-Roman theatre. After lunch visit the basilica Of St.John. Return to Kusadasi.

Kusadasi - Canakkale |

Early departure for Pergamum. After lunch visits of Asklepion and Acropolis. Continue for troy. The legendary town in the Iliad of Homeros, visit the Athena Temple. Drive to Çanakkale, overnight at hotel.

Canakkale - Istanbul |

After breakfast cross the strait by ferry and drive to Istanbul along the shores of Marmara Sea.

Istanbul - Fly |

After breakfast, depart for a half-day sightseeing tour of the Sultanahmet district at the heart of old Istanbul.
