Day 01 |

Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport, transfer to your hotel and check-in. Enjoy a tour of the Summer Palace with its imperial court and Chinese Garden. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 |

After breakfast, proceed to the Tiananmen Square or Gate of Heavenly Peace. The largest square (100 acres) in the world, big enough to hold half a million people, it was created in the early 20th century as old buildings were demolished to make way for traffic. Move on to the Forbidden City or Gu Gong in Chinese, now popular as the Palace Museum and see the 250-acre complex of pavilions, courtyards and gardens that was part of the imperial palace during the Ming and the Qing dynasties. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to the Great Wall of China (3,946 mile long) at Juyong Pass. The only man-made structure visible from space, this wall marks China's ancient civilization. Also visit the jade factory to identify authentic jade as well as learn the art of making jade figures from experts. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped and prayed for good harvests. See countless local people perform Chinese Opera, Tai chi and fan dance etc. Later in the evening, enjoy the Bejing Acrobatic Show where artists perform gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, uni-cycling, chair-stacking, plate-spinning acts and much more. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 |
Beijing - Shanghai |

After breakfast, take a transfer to Shanghai and check-in to the hotel. Then visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple built in 1882 and amaze at the two jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha and other ancient sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures. Also visit the classical Yuyuan Garden in Anren Jie in Shanghai, which was built by a government officer named Pan Yunduan of the Ming Dynasty for his parents for their old age. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, see some of Shanghai's most interesting sights such as the Bund, a popular promenade on the riverfront; the People Square in the Huangpu district and the Pearl Oriental TV Tower, which offers an incomparable aerial view of the bustling city. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, take a transfer to the airport on time to board the flight for return journey.
